Kilcarrig Quarries is a provider of aggregates, sand and gravel and construction materials. Kilcarrig Quarries recognise that each activity, product, and service we provide has a potential impact on the environment and the local community.  Our objective is to minimize the environmental impacts and where practicable provide environmental benefit.

Kilcarrig Quarries is committed to compliance with existing legislation, prevention of pollution and continuous improvement of environmental management in accordance with best practice principles.

Kilcarrig Quarries have established and will maintain an Environmental Management System (EMS) to ensure that environmental impacts are controlled and minimized and that our objectives are achieved.

The EMS is part of the overall management system within our sites and will enable us to provide materials and services in a manner which ensures that we meet our environmental obligations.

Kilcarrig Quarries is a provider of sand and construction materials operating at ‘Powerstown Big’ Manufacturing Facility, Powerstown, Co. Carlow.

The company is committed to compliance with existing legislation, prevention of pollution and continuous improvement of environmental management.

To ensure that environmental impacts are controlled and minimized and that our objectives & commitments are achieved we have established and will maintain an Environmental Management System (EMS). The EMS will be reviewed annually. There will also be an annual review to assess compliance with Planning Authority conditions.

This system is part of the overall management system for the site and will enable us to provide materials and services to society in a manner which ensures that we meet our environmental obligations.
