Kilcarrig Quarries produce an extensive range of Blocks. The Kilcarrig range of blocks includes all the standard profiles and specials required for all your masonry needs. Our collection of blocks is manufactured as standard to class S5 while we also manufacture blocks to higher strength classes. Kilcarrig also produce two types of finishes, standard Finish Blocks and Fine Textured Finish Blocks. Our fine textured block can be used on exposed block wall construction to achieve a higher quality finish than standard blocks. All our block ranges are manufactured to EN- 771-3. and are CE-marked and tested accordingly.

Concrete blocks are used everywhere. From housing developments to office blocks, schools to factories. Perfect for any construction project. They are made from high-quality concrete and are designed to be strong and durable. They are easy to install and can be used for a variety of applications, including foundations, walls, retaining walls, load-bearing and non-load-bearing walls etc. It is recommended that block work with a high risk of saturation and freezing, used below or near external ground level should be a minimum of 13N/mm2.

Kilcarrig also supplies 18 & 24N High Strength Grade blocks are used principally where higher compressive strengths are required, such as in the foundations and lower storeys of three and four-storey buildings, piers under high vertical loads, multi-storey buildings, manhole and high load-bearing wall for masonry etc.
